Brownstone was selected by the Richland Library system to provide architectural services for the new Lower Richland Library; the project involved the up fit of a 2,600-square-foot storefront dentist office into a public library. The scope of renovation work included a floor plan reconfiguration to create "learning pods," new finishes, rezoning of the HVAC, electrical systems, lighting, data network, plumbing, and safety and security. As the thirteenth Richland Library location and the first in the Lower Richland area, the project is a very important addition to the community and will have a lasting and beneficial effect on the needs of the residents within the area.
