Sarah Mills Hodge Elementary School

This new facility is 90,000 square feet and can serve over 500 students. The school was built on the existing DeRenne Middle School campus.  The tilt-wall school is based on a prototype design identical to the completed Pulaski and Gadsden Elementary Schools in the Savannah-Chatham County School District. The new facility contains spaces for Grades Pre-K through 5th Grade, a Media Center, a Cafeteria, Computer Labs, a Gymnasium, and other support spaces.  The project also included associated site work, utility connections, landscaping, and irrigation.  Careful coordination was incorporated into the project to avoid disruptions in the adjacent community.
